About Two Trees Beads™

Melanie Coyne, the owner of Two Trees Beads™, received a B.A. in Geology from Wellesley College and a Master of Science degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawai'i.  She worked in the field of coastal geology in California for many years before a change in geography gave her the opportunity to pursue her lifelong dream of starting her own jewelry company.  She started Two Trees Beads™ in 2004. 

Melanie designs jewelry that emphasizes the beauty of the materials used in the pieces.  She loves to incorporate semi-precious stones in unusual finishes and shapes, photographs, vintage glass and Swarovski crystals in her designs.  

The Two Trees Beads™ name and logo are based on a drawing that Melanie's husband drew for her when they first started dating in high school.
